Submission Terms & Guidelines
AuditionsDFW provides a community resource for sharing audition opportunities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth performing arts community. Our goal is to make audition information accurate, easy to read, and useful to performers while giving producing organizations a convenient way to reach potential participants.
By submitting an audition notice or organization information to AuditionsDFW, you agree to the following guidelines.
Please review these terms before accepting the Submission Agreement on the audition form.

Accuracy of Information
- Production title and producing organization
- Audition dates, times, and locations
- Submission deadlines
- Callback information
- Rehearsal and performance schedules
- Audition requirements
- Roles or casting information
- Compensation or participation fees
- Contact information and registration links
AuditionsDFW is not responsible for errors contained in information supplied by a submitting organization or individual. If information changes after an audition has been published, please contact AuditionsDFW as soon as possible so the listing can be corrected.

Editorial Review and Formatting
All submissions are subject to review before publication.
AuditionsDFW may edit, format, shorten, or reorganize submitted material as needed to improve readability, correct spelling or grammatical errors, maintain consistent formatting, or better fit the presentation of the website.
These editorial changes may include adjustments to capitalization, punctuation, paragraph spacing, headings, date and time formatting, and organization of submitted information.
We will not intentionally make a material change to important information such as audition dates, requirements, compensation, participation fees, deadlines, or other substantive details without attempting to clarify the information with the submitting organization.

Publication Is Not Guaranteed
- Incomplete or substantially inaccurate
- Misleading
- Inappropriate for the purpose of AuditionsDFW
- Duplicative
- Fraudulent or suspicious
- Unrelated to performing arts auditions or opportunities
- Submitted primarily as advertising or solicitation
- In violation of applicable laws or the rights of others
We may also remove a listing after publication if concerns arise regarding its accuracy, legitimacy, or appropriateness.

Logos, Photos, and Other Materials
By uploading a logo, photograph, graphic, or other material, you represent that you have the right or permission to provide that material for use in connection with the audition listing.
You authorize AuditionsDFW to display submitted materials on the AuditionsDFW website and in reasonable promotional uses related to the listing, such as social media posts or audition-alert emails.
AuditionsDFW may resize, crop, or otherwise format images as necessary for website presentation.

Producing Organization Information
When a new producing organization is submitted, AuditionsDFW may create an organization record containing information provided with the audition submission.
Organization information may be edited or standardized for consistency with other listings on the website.
If an organization already exists in the AuditionsDFW database, submitted audition information may be associated with that existing organization record.

Public and Private Contact Information
Some submission fields are designated for public contact information, while others are intended only for AuditionsDFW administrative use.
Information specifically identified as private or administrative contact information will not be intentionally published as part of the public audition listing.
Information entered into fields designated as public may appear on the AuditionsDFW website.
Please do not enter information in a public field that you do not want displayed publicly.

Compensation and Participation Fees
Organizations are responsible for accurately disclosing whether a production is paid, unpaid, provides a stipend, or involves a participation fee.
If a participation fee is required, the submitting organization should provide sufficient information for performers to understand the nature of that fee.
AuditionsDFW does not collect, administer, endorse, or guarantee any compensation or fees associated with a listed production.

Changes and Corrections
If you discover an error or need to change an audition after submission, please contact AuditionsDFW and request an update.
AuditionsDFW may request verification before making significant changes to a published audition notice.

Expiration and Removal

No Endorsement
Publication of an audition, producing organization, production, or opportunity on AuditionsDFW does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by AuditionsDFW.
AuditionsDFW does not independently verify every organization, production, director, audition notice, compensation arrangement, participation fee, or other detail contained in a submission.
Performers should use reasonable judgment when responding to any audition opportunity and should contact the producing organization directly with questions about the production.

Right to Update These Guidelines
AuditionsDFW may revise these Submission Terms & Guidelines from time to time as the website and its services evolve.
Continued use of the submission system is subject to the version of these guidelines in effect at the time of submission.
